Developed by the Statewide AI Workgroup, this interactive resource provides a series of hands-on challenge cards focused on promoting effective, ethical, and sustainable AI integration that supports procurement, data privacy, interoperability, and equitable access. Through color-coded activities spanning operational readiness, strategic implementation, and leadership simulations, teams use practical AI chatbot prompts to explore real-world scenarios—including “shadow AI” discovery, procurement rubrics, vendor policy evaluation, and district use policy drafts. It serves as an ideal resource for facilitating collaborative department discussions and proactively designing a privacy-aligned AI infrastructure for K-12 operations.
