Ann Arbor Public Schools AI Bill of Rights
This is a document is an output of Ann Arbor Public Schools' AI implementation journey where they have included student voice in their AI Taskforce. It is marked DRAFT as they are using it as a guiding document, but also iterating as they learn as a district.

This DRAFT Bill of Rights document builds on the National Office of Science and Technology Policy released in 2022: “Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights,” and is adapted from Kathryn Conrad from Critical AI, whose goal is to consider and support best practices for using AI in education and inform teachers and students of acceptable and appropriate use of AI. These guidelines are intended as the beginning of the conversation, a foundation on which policies and protections can be based. Ultimately, educators must lead this conversation, guided by aspirations for and collaboration with our students.
